Thanks for reading, Alina. That’s true that all those individual subscriptions would definitely add up and what starts as $1.50 suddenly becomes $60 a month or maybe even a lot more. I think there are some creative ways around this and the problem could even open up new space for brand new startups creating things like “bundle” subscriptions. The problem is that there is no market force to drive any innovation in that business model. Ads are just too easy and subscription too risky right now for companies to try and push the boundaries.
